LONDON 10k & QUNU 34k PARTNER FOR DWF

Several runners represented the Donald Woods Foundation in this year's London 10k Run and raised thousands of pounds for the Foundation's health and education programmes in South Africa. This event is twinned with the Foundation's annual "Qunu - Miller Mission Challenge", with runners in both events wearing the same shirts which mark the run in South Africa in April and July in London. Our leading representatives completed the course in under an hour.

2010 sees the Foundation's third annual Qunu - Miller Mission Challenge, the purpose of which is to highlight the difficulty local people face in accessing healthcare in rural areas, and retraces the steps of Nelson Mandela's 34 km walk to see Dr Lex Soga, when he was just seven years old.
