SCHOOLS PROGRAMME EXPANSION ANNOUNCED

The Donald Woods Foundation is announcing an expansion in our education programme with projects now covering all four corners of South Africa, from Cape Town to kwaZulu-Natal, and Gauteng to the Eastern Cape. Our new schools initiative will expand our partnership with the Department of Education to include 14 schools in the first phase.

The Foundation's education programme includes primary, secondary and tertiary projects, with the schools programme structured in an integrated approach to support wider community-building initiatives. The programme is designed to expand to 100 schools in later phases, building on health and other components in the regions. The parts of the country where DWF has education projects are marked in green on the map to the right.
